Bamboo Rainstick Instrument

This hand painted rain stick will add entertainment to any ensemble. Rain sticks were traditionally made from dried cactus or bamboo and then filled with pebbles or beans. It is believed that they were used by indigenous farming tribes in dry deserts where it does not rain often with the hopes of rain for their crops.
